The Utility Support Structures segment includes engineered steel and concrete structures for the global utility industry. The Energy and Mining segment offers access systems applications, forged steel grinding media, and on and off shore oil, gas, and wind energy structures outside of the United States. The Coatings segment provides galvanizing, anodizing, and powder coating services on a global basis. The Irrigation segment comprises of agricultural irrigation equipment and related parts and services for the global agricultural industry as well as tubular products. Valmont Industries was founded by Robert B. Daugherty in 1946 and is headquartered in Omaha, NE.
