The Hotels and Property segment manages hotels and offers property leasing services. The Logistics segment includes land transportation and shipping operations. The Finance and Investment segment consists of the firm's head office administration activities. The company was founded in 1919 and is headquartered in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

In early 2012 my wife and I set up a self managed super fund (SMSF). For the equity component, I use Skaffold to guide my investing. I began investing on 14 May 2012. Excluding dividends our portfolio has returned 110% in just over 12 months. Our purchases include Flight Centre (FLT), Codan (CDA), energy auction procurement business and player in the energy services market Energy Action (EAX) and Trading Company (SST). It’s the last week of reporting season, and the upsets keep emerging. Regional airline Regional Express (REX) has held Skaffold’s second highest A2 Score for 5 of the past 10 years. REX has fallen to A3. So has Seymour Whyte. Other companies to update in Skaffold include Silver Lake Resources (SLR), Saracen Mineral Holdings (SAR), AV Jennings (AVJ), Corporate Travel Management (CTD), Global Construction Services (GCS), Harvey Norman (HVN), Challenger (CGF) and Perpetual (PPT).
