Authorised Representative Licensee
The purpose of this FSG is to assist you in deciding whether to use any of the services offered by Skaffold. This guide provides details on remuneration of Skaffold and its representatives. It also details how complaints against Skaffold or the Licensee can be dealt with. Most financial products have disclosure documents that assist an investor to make an informed choice. These documents include a prospectus, product disclosure statement or requirement to provide continuous disclosure to the ASX or ASIC. The nature of the financial services provided by Skaffold is general advice only. As such, Skaffold will not provide these documents to you and we encourage you to obtain this information before you make an investment decision.
As noted above, Skaffold provides general financial product advice only. See Section 6 for further details.
Skaffold provides members with access to the web-based application Skaffold. The application provides information on companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. We may provide general financial product advice through the application to members. The application itself is not considered a financial product as defined under the law. It is a financial service as it may provide general financial advice.
We also provide written content, online webinars and training. These may include the provision of general financial product advice.
Financial services will be provided to you by Skaffold, through its web-based application, staff and sub-authorised representatives (if any).
Skaffold is responsible to you for the actions of its staff and representatives. The Licensee is ultimately responsible for advice provided to you including any advice provided by Skaffold in accordance with its obligations under Section 912A of the Corporations Act.
Neither Skaffold nor the Licensee are responsible to you for services provided to you by any other third party, including other financial service providers. You should refer to the FSG of your other financial services provider for further information about the services they offer.
In providing the financial services, we act on your instructions whether you provide them by telephone, email or fax or any form of communication.
* Provide financial product advice; * Deal in a financial product; * issuing, applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product; * applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of a financial product on behalf of another; or * provide custodial or depository services other than IDPS.

We are of the view that the financial services we provide will mostly fall under the financial product advice authorisation.
No. Where we provide you with advice it will be general financial product advice only. Our advice will be prepared without taking into account your personal financial circumstances, investment objectives or needs. Before acting on any advice provided you should consider its appropriateness given your financial situation, objectives and needs. If the advice relates to the acquisition or possible acquisition of a financial product, you should obtain a copy of the product disclosure statement (PDS) or any other disclosure documents for that product, before making a decision. You should also seek and take personal professional advice before making a decision.
If you choose to purchase the online application Skaffold, you will be charged a fee on a membership basis. An annual membership fee will initially equal $1330.00 We may vary our pricing from time to time. All membership offers are subject to acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, contained in the membership application. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We reserve the right to alter prices in the future. We may also charge you fees to attend our seminars, this would differ from case to case and would depend on the duration of the seminar.
Skaffold will not receive any additional benefit, bonus or remuneration, other than that set out in section 7 above, from the sale of a membership to the Skaffold application. Skaffold’s director(s) and employees are paid a salary and may also receive bonuses, incentives or commissions as remuneration (and based on performance) from time to time.
Where Skaffold, its directors, employees or associates hold an interest in a particular company, which is the subject of our general advice, this will be noted in any written reports we may provide that are not part of the Skaffold application.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, we have established a dispute resolution procedure that aims to resolve the problem within 14 working days, as follows:
1. Contact our Member Experience Team either by our online Get in Touch form at www.skaffold.com or by phone on 1300 752 336 or 02 9692 5750. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint or query as soon as possible
2. If you prefer, you can lodge your complaint in writing to the Privacy Officer, Skaffold Pty Ltd, GPO Box 3324, Sydney, NSW, 2001.

4. If your complaint is still not satisfactorily resolved you have the right to lodge your complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service. Contact details are: GPO Box 3 Melbourne Victoria 3000 Phone: 1300 780 808 Website: www.fos.org.au The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) also has an Infoline number 1300 300 630 which you may use to make a complaint and obtain information about your rights.
Licensees are responsible for ensuring that professional indemnity covers authorised representatives. The Licensee has Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance that satisfies the requirements set out in Section 912B of the Corporations Act. The PI also covers claims in respect of current and former employees for services provided on behalf of the Licensee or Skaffold or any other authorised representative as appointed from time to time.

Personal information that is no longer required will be destroyed. Privacy Complaints Should you have a complaint that is specific to a privacy breach or a breach of the Privacy Act, you should contact us on the contact details contained in this FSG and request that your complaint be directed to the Privacy Officer. The Privacy Officer will contact you within 14 days and will use all reasonable means to resolve your complaint. If, however you are unhappy with the result you may contact the office of the Privacy Commissioner.
